As a lover of history and a fascination with Egypt I greatly looked forward to reading this book. The lack of accuracy, including a comment that Mary Queen of Scots ruled England as "bloody Mary", a name given to Mary Tudor, daughter of Henry VIII, is sadly just one example of a jumble of unrelated facts. Naming characters incorrectly also tends to be rather annoying. Both Mark Anthony and Octavius were frequently swapped around and even in a Chapter about Nefertiti the author called her Cleopatra. The author of this book thinks that Mary , Queen of Scots, became
queen of England and that she
was known as "Bloody Mary". For someone supposed to be writing about historical figures to make such an error, immediately calls into question the author's authenticity! Anyone with a passing knowledge of Western European history knows Mary Tudor had this appellation. Not, as stated, the woman born in Scotland, who becomes Queen of France and later the decades long prisoner of Elizabeth Tudor. Mostly a mishmash of quotes from other sources, syntax
which leaves much to be desired, and a cobbled together " story" that involves no discernable scholarship!
I've only watch the movie of Cleopatra once when I was still young but not really appreciate it until I've read this book. I didn't know that there's such a good story about Cleopatra that I have not understood before. I thought the whole thing was just a great piece of the history of literature but it isn't just like that. I've learned it here thru this written book of Michael Klein that I absolutely appreciate.
It was great to read about Cleopatra and Nefertiti. I actually have no idea of Nefertiti, But it was wonderful to know about both of them. This book is great. I actually thought I did know about Cleopatra, but when I read this book I was aware that I don't know even a fraction of what this book gives you. This book is well written. If you wanted to know more about Cleopatra or Nefertiti, This book is the one

Very interesting history and comparison of two famous women.
I am lover of reading historical books specially biography and history about Cleopatra and Nefertiti .After reading this book I am really happy because I got lot of precious information about these beauty queens.Really this is a nice book to peruse and I exceptionally prescribe it to every one of the general population who love perusing life story or verifiable books.
